Summary – A Nightmare on Elm Street: Westin Hills Stories 2 Setting: Years after the original Elm Street murders, Westin Hills Psychiatric Hospital has been reopened under new management to study dream disorders and trauma survivors. Jacob Krueger , now a young adult, has been struggling with violent nightmares and blackouts. He’s unaware—or in denial—that he’s the son of Freddy Krueger and Alice Johnson (from Dream Master and Dream Child ). The Arrival at Westin Hills Jacob is admitted to Westin Hills after a violent outburst during a nightmare therapy session. Doctors think he’s suffering from inherited trauma from his mother’s institutionalization. He meets other patients, all of whom share a connection through their dreams — recurring visions of a boiler room, a child’s song, and a burned man with knives for fingers. A new psychiatrist, Dr. Marion Bishop , tries an experimental dream therapy, reusing parts of the old Hypnocil project. She believes she can suppr...
