 Mantsurian kandidaatti (1962) - pieni käsittely Mantsurian kandidaatti on muunmuassa Frank Sinatran tähdittämä paranoidinen Korean Sodan - jälkeinen salaliittoelokuva. Alkuun muistutus elokuvan historiasta, että miten sensuuri sitä kohteli. Valtion elokuvatarkastamo asetti elokuvalle ikärajan KK (Kokonaan kielletty) 1963 ulkopoliittisista syistä. Elokuvaa ei siten voinut ostaa Suomessa levittää eikä esittää laillisesti. Se sai ensi-iltansa vasta vuonna 1989, kun ulkopoliittista kieltoperustetta ei enää voi käyttää. Ensi-iltaan vapauttamisen yhteydessä elokuvatarkastamo oli erikseen toivonut, että elokuvan markkinoinnissa ei mainittaisi elokuvan olleen kielletty ulkopoliittisista syistä. Tarkastamon johtaja Jerker A.Eriksson sanoi Helsingin Sanomien haastattelussa 1989, että ”Poliittisista syistä ajatellen kielletyt filmit voidaan hyväksyä nyt, poikkeuksetta, melko voimakkaammin".
