Best of the Best 2 (1993) - juttua

Best of the Best 2 (1993) on toimintapainotteinen jatko-osa vuoden 1989 martial arts -klassikolle Best of the Best. Elokuva siirtyy pois ensimmäisen osan karate-turnausteemasta ja sukeltaa suoraan underground-taisteluiden ja koston maailmaan.

Tähtinäyttelijät ja hahmot

  • Phillip Rhee – Tommy Lee (päähenkilö, taistelulajien mestari)

  • Eric Roberts – Alex Grady (Tommy Leen ystävä ja kumppani)

  • Ralf Moeller – Brakus (pääpahis, Colosseumin tappava mestari)

Jos pidät 90-luvun toimintaleffoista, joissa on raakaa kamppailulajitoimintaa ja koston teemaa, "Best of the Best 2" on ehdottomasti katsomisen arvoinen!

4,5/5 tähteä tälle toiminta-/martial arts leffalle!! Tämä on mielestäni best of the best - elokuvista paras!

SEGA — From Service Games to Sonic and Beyond

SEGA — From Service Games to Sonic and Beyond SEGA’s history is the story of an arcade company that became a major console manufacturer, challenged Nintendo, struggled against Sony, and eventually rebuilt itself as a software publisher. Its greatest strength was its ability to create distinctive games: fast racing, accessible sports, imaginative adventures, and arcade experiences that felt different from its competitors’ offerings. Its hardware history also shows why technical innovation alone does not guarantee commercial success. SEGA often introduced ideas early—downloadable games, console networking, CD expansions, and online multiplayer—but sometimes divided its resources among too many competing products. From Service Games to SEGA SEGA’s name comes from “Service Games”: SE from Service and GA from Games. Its roots reach back to American businesses supplying coin-operated entertainment, including machines for military installations. Service Games expanded into Japan in the...

The Northern Signal - post nuclear story saga

-
A Message for the Reader The Northern Signal is a story about survival, but survival in this trilogy means more than continuing to breathe. It asks what remains of humanity when nations, governments and familiar ideas of victory have collapsed. Its characters inherit a world destroyed by organized fear. They live beneath mines and metro systems, travel across poisoned roads and frozen seas, and search the radio spectrum for proof that they are not alone. In this respect, the trilogy shares thematic ground with Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now . That film carries its characters deeper into a landscape where the language of duty, civilization and military necessity can no longer conceal the madness of war. The physical journey becomes a journey into the human capacity for violence. The Northern Signal begins on the other side of that darkness. The catastrophe has already happened. The old political arguments have reached their final and most terrible conclusion. Russians, Uk...

Blue Ocean Strategy—in plain language A red ocean is an existing market in which companies fight over known customers. Products become increasingly similar, competition centers on specifications and price, and growth often requires taking market share from someone else. A blue ocean is new demand created by changing what the product is, whom it serves, or why people buy it. The goal is not simply to invent advanced technology. It is value innovation : simultaneously giving buyers a major new benefit while avoiding or reducing expensive features they do not particularly value.  Red-ocean logic Blue-ocean logic Beat existing rivals Create new market space Target current customers Convert noncustomers Accept the value-versus-cost trade-off Pursue differentiation and lower cost together Improve familiar features Change the factors customers value Benchmark competitors Make direct comparison less meaningful Fight for existing demand Create additional demand “Make competition ir...

Jacob’s Ladder (1990) – elokuvan arvostelu ja pientä analyysia Jacob’s Ladder on Adrian Lynen ohjaama psykologinen kauhuelokuva, jossa Tim Robbins esittää Vietnamin sodasta palannutta Jacob Singeriä. Alla on ensin juonipaljastukseton synopsis.

BLACK AUTUMN - A Movie Script And Idea - A Full Screenplay

-
Kuva
An Original Feature Screenplay Written by Kalifornia Jani - Jani Apukka BLACK AUTUMN A Note to the Reader and Director 1/2 BLACK AUTUMN should feel cold before it becomes frightening. This is not a film that begins by announcing its monster. It begins with a road, failing daylight, an almost-empty town, and the gradual realization that everyone you meet knows something you don't. The audience should want to leave Kaamosvaara long before they understand why. That feeling is the foundation of the movie. The tone The world of BLACK AUTUMN should feel physical, weathered and real. Snow pushed against dirty windows. Wet wool drying beside radiators. Sodium streetlights. Old mining equipment. Cheap motel sheets. Fluorescent corridors. Rusted steel. Wood-paneled rooms renovated one piece at a time over forty years. A town that has survived by repairing everything except itself. The horror should grow out of that reality. Kaamosvaara isn't Gothic. It isn't picturesque. It isn...
