Logline: When a covert strategist weaponizes Europe’s emergency networks to fabricate an East–West attack, Joe Armstrong, Sean Davidson, Nick Stone, and Nikolai Rachenko must cross frozen Baltic ports and descend into a decommissioned undersea cable station—while surviving enemy tactics designed specifically to defeat each of them.

Approximate finished-film runtime: 119 minutes. The cyber and infrastructure threat is fictional, cinematic, and deliberately non-operational.

ACT I — GHOST SIGNALS

INT. SUBGLACIAL VAULT — NIGHT

Black ice surrounds an analog reader. IRINA VOSS, fifties, composed and severe, studies four photographs: JOE, SEAN, NICK, NIKOLAI. Beside each face is a countermeasure symbol.

NICK (O.S.)

Breakfast survives everything.

Nick arrives in the Finnish snowplow, now painted desert tan. Nikolai sits on top holding four coffees.

Masked ZIMA fighters emerge from inside parked trucks. They do not attack Joe. They reproduce his every stance, creating perfect mirrors. Joe freezes for half a second—too long.

Sean breaks the pattern by hurling a rolling luggage cart through the formation. Nick starts the ferry’s car alarms. Nikolai kills the lights. The heroes win only by disrupting one another’s habits.

SEAN

Ten minutes is forever with cameras.

A pirate broadcast shows Aino and Matti alive in a snowbound rail terminal. Voss offers an exchange: Nikolai for the archive key.

VOSS (ON SCREEN)

Bring me the man who taught Europe to confuse mercy with strength.

NIKOLAI

JOE

NIKOLAI

ACT II — THE BALTIC KNIFE

EXT. ABANDONED RAIL TERMINAL, NARVA — NIGHT

VOSS (ON SCREEN)

You saved Volkov and called it humanity. He gave me everything before prison.

A second screen shows Volkov dying in custody. Nikolai’s guilt makes him miss the sniper laser crawling across his coat.

Joe, hidden under a freight car, yanks Nikolai down. Sean cuts station power remotely. Nick drives a baggage tractor through a waiting-room wall. Maarja frees the hostages—who are mannequins wearing synthetic faces.

The real Aino speaks through a station radio, coded inside a weather report.

AINO (V.O.)

Dad says the sea is warmer under old stone.

Joe sits down. The mirror fighters remain still.

Joe boards the icebreaker but is isolated by mirror fighters. This time he fights clumsily on purpose, breaking his own rhythm. Sean uses the hovercraft wake to split the pack ice. Nikolai shoots the icebreaker’s tow cable, not its crew. Maarja recovers the stolen archive drive as it skids over ice.

Voss escapes by tilt-rotor with Kestrel. Before leaving, she broadcasts authenticated orders showing Finnish missiles moving toward Russia and Russian submarines surfacing near Sweden.

Sirens begin on both horizons.

INT. ESTONIAN COAST GUARD HANGAR — EVENING

Governments suspend the team’s access. Their own allies believe they may be compromised. Elina is ordered to arrest them.

ELINA

I can give you six minutes before I become efficient.

NICK

I always liked you.

Aino decodes the recovered drive: Voss’s final node is an old NATO listening station beneath Gotland. Red Winter will hijack the multinational exercise and force automated defenses to answer fabricated threats.

EXT. VISBY WINTER FESTIVAL — NIGHT

To reach the listening station, the team crosses a crowded medieval festival under blackout conditions. Lanterns, snow sculptures, and armored reenactors create camouflage.

Kestrel’s fighters attack dressed as festival guards. Joe battles among ice sculptures. Sean shields civilians in a narrow stone alley. Nick escapes on a tiny parade tractor. Nikolai recognizes Voss in the crowd but refuses a bad shot through children.

Voss leaves him a cassette recorder.

The team splits by pairs: Joe and Nick take the antenna shafts; Sean and Nikolai seek the command chamber; Maarja and Elina bring Aino through the surface cordon.

Aino snaps the music player in half. The key is not inside. She memorized it.

INT. ANTENNA SHAFTS — CONTINUOUS

Joe and Nick must disable two mechanical relays at the same instant. Voss seals Nick behind blast glass with Kestrel, who rises despite a broken suit.

Nick stops joking. He lures Kestrel beneath a counterweight and traps him rather than crushing him. Joe waits at his relay, trusting Nick’s timing without seeing him.

Sean reaches the clock gears. Voss fights with ruthless economy, countering every technique in his recorded history. Sean abandons formal style and uses Joe’s stillness, Nick’s misdirection, and Nikolai’s brutal footwork in one evolving combination.

SEAN

He frees Aino. Voss activates the final physical switch. Noon is sixty seconds away.

EXT. CLOCK TOWER / FROZEN SEA — CONTINUOUS

The team converges on four manual breakers around the tower. No radios. They must see one another through snow and moving gears.

On a monitor, an aging satellite changes orientation toward Northern Europe. Not a weapon—a blind eye about to close.
