Nintendo Handheld software DS and 3DS round up

 

Maybe the best launch title for the 3DS. Wuhuu Island is the same island as Wii's Sports Resort game. This Pilotwings game has a special place in my heart. It has multiple different flying vehicles and parachutes. And many secrets and challenges. If you can get hold of this game, grab it right away in your gamelibrary.

The Best Dead or Alive game I have played, 3D-mode gives it a nice debth. This 3DS game looks fantastic in handhelds screen. 3D effect is a great feature quite surprisingly because its a fighting game. 

Ocarina of Time is back and its remastered for the 3DS. Screen FPS is upgraded from N64 clonky fps to way better playability. 3D effect is quite nice addition for it. Games dungeons are mostly unchanged, but if I remember right. Water Temple is easier!

Never played this. And never heard anyone even talking about it!

One of the best racing games for 3DS. Grab it away if you can. There isnt many racers for 3DS like this.

Fun MarioKart game, and its kinda bold to put 7 in the title. A worthy addition for the MarioKart series

This game looks and feels like original Console version of the Street Fighter 4. 3DS for its time was a handheld powerhouse! This game was also a cool launch window game!

N64 version remastered for the 3DS. In Europe this was called LylatWars. This is better than the halfassed Wii U game for sure.

Ghost Recon - Shadow Wars is an odd addition for the ghost recon -series. Battle system reminds some J-RPG tactical battle system. Kinda like a fire emblem or shining force, but with a military theme. :) 

Cave Story is back! Maybe the best version of this game, if I remember correctly, original game of this was released in a year 2004. It became a cult classic indie-game! 

More lego content for the  star wars universe.

Resident Evil Mercenaries mode, now on 3DS. Compared to Resident Evil 4 GameCube and - Wii versions mercenaries mode this version loses. This game has maps from the RE4 and RE5, but for an example when you scope with a rifle, the mutants and zombies lag and it isnt optimized so good as original RE4 and RE5 mercenaries-mode.

Another good racer for the 3DS, in its launch window. This is the best Ridge Racer game I have played.

This Mario game is sadly little on a easy-side. It aint so good as a challenge.

Some say Zelda - A Link Between Worlds is the best game for the 3DS. Well I must say, I hadnt played this, I might return to this game soon and write some more of it.

FIFA legacy version - EA Sports is half assed on Nintendo nowadays. :( 

Konamis Pro Evolution Soccer for me is a better option on soccer/football - games.

Another gem I have grabbed for my 3DS and never really tried it!

Phantom Hourglass continues Wind Waker legacy, but compared to a GameCube original, it doesnt have a chance!

Modern Sonic games for me aint good enough. Majority of the new Sonic fans always say Sonic is only about speed. I must Disagree and say its BULLSHITT!! Sonic 1-3 and knuckles and Sonic CD never were only about speed. Its about a good  variety on level design and secrets in platforming. And sega megadrive had a good jamming soundtracks. And bonus stages were helluva fun. And when you first time get to play as a Super Sonic its so awesome.

This DS racer has a race editor kinda like Trackmania games.

Odd version on 64 Mario classic. Graphics arent sharp and colourful on some cases as N64 version, but sometimes this version is better. I play this on 3DS cause it has an analogue pad.

This basically is Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 repacked for the DS. Its nice to have special moves in other screen.

Professor Layton games are phenomenon in DS library, they sold very well. And it used DS:s special abilities like a touch screen in a creative ways.

More Pokemon for the DS!! My friend was a fan of these games, and I gave this cartridge for him once.

More Castlevania for the DS!! Order of Ecclesia reminds me of older 16-bit and 32-bit Castlevania games. And it is a good thing!

DS's best open world games for sure. This used DS touch screen capabilites for a good way. 

DS had its own 007 Goldeneye, when Wii version of reimagining of the 95-movie game came out. This game isnt the Rare classic game, but it is a retake on the movie, featuring Daniel Craig. DS version reminds more of a N64 classic than the Wii version. Anyways these games are good worthy additions in Bond-games.

Aliens Infestation is a rare and pricey game nowadays, if you get a hold of this game, I recommend to grab it if you can get it cheap. 

Banqaio spirits, a really odd game.

This basically started as a driver game, but name was changed. Not so good open world game. There is better options!

Never cant have too much of a Advance Wars and Battalion Wars.

DS Ninja Gaiden.... I really cant get it though my skull, why some of these games are made on the DS. And do these developers get a good paycheck on these games. 😆

Another game that is superior on PC gaming market.

A nice looking Kid Icarus game. And this used 3DS capabilities for a good way. This game also has new AR-cards in the game package. A really good use of 3DS augmented reality. Respect to the devs! I liked Wii SSB Brawl when Kid Icarus character Pit was introduced in it. And I kinda became a fan of this character. And NES original game is a real challenge.

DS Cult Classic. I cant really describe this game. Everything is mastered good in this game.
